Know these cold

  1. Windows Pro adds BitLocker, Remote Desktop, and domain join over Home; Enterprise adds advanced management.
  2. macOS is Unix-based and hardware-locked to Apple; Linux is free, open-source, and runs on almost any hardware.
  3. NTFS for Windows (permissions, encryption); exFAT for cross-platform USB drives; ext4 for Linux systems.
  4. Virtual memory extends RAM via a page file; 64-bit OS required to address more than 4 GB RAM.
